How to Reach
Find your way to our serene forest retreat with ease
From Palakkad
Vanya Holiday Resort is approximately 55 km from Palakkad town. Take the Palakkad-Nemmara route and continue towards Nelliampathi. The scenic drive takes about 2 hours through winding mountain roads and offers breathtaking views.
From Coimbatore
From Coimbatore, take the route via Pollachi and Nemmara to reach Nelliampathi. The journey is approximately 90 km and takes about 3 hours. The route offers beautiful views of the Western Ghats.
Important Note
The last 15 km to Nelliampathi consists of hairpin bends and mountain roads. It's advisable to travel during daylight hours. Our staff can arrange for pickup from Nemmara if needed.
Nearest Railway Stations
The nearest major railway station is Palakkad Junction (55 km), which is well-connected to major cities across India. Alternatively, you can arrive at Thrissur Railway Station (75 km) or Coimbatore Junction (90 km).
From Railway Station
Taxis and private cabs are available from all three railway stations to Nelliampathi. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours depending on your starting point.
Pre-arrange Transport
We recommend pre-arranging transportation from the railway station. Our resort can organize pickup services with prior notice at an additional charge.
Nearest Airports
Coimbatore International Airport (95 km) is the nearest airport, offering domestic connections to major Indian cities and limited international flights. Cochin International Airport (130 km) is an alternative with more extensive domestic and international connections.
Airport Transfers
Taxis and private cabs are available from both airports. The journey from Coimbatore takes approximately 3-3.5 hours, while from Cochin it takes about 4-4.5 hours.

Apart from a time-starved life, a station to refuel and energise and to be more peaceful. A gorgeous window of nature and a tiny gem. A little off road, may be a kilometre or less to the property was crazy, the extraordinary heads with simplicity and friendliness Mr Jojo and Ms Anju helped us by serving the Bellary beef and a customise thilopia fish fry and all. Morning breakfast again was superb by Mr Kannan. A minimum of two nights is a must in this property, however we were there only for a single night, still enjoyed the serenity.

We went as a group of 10 and stayed for a night. The best thing about this property is the location. Beautiful hotel with great view from all our rooms. Breakfast & room service food quality and tastes are good. They have camp fire at evening and play some music for people who can dance at. The hotel is great from every aspect. But the best thing is the attitude of the staff of this hotel, they go above and beyond to accommodate your reasonable requests. For all the positives this hotel has, including spacious rooms, great view, good food, the attitude and welcoming nature of the staff is the reason i will recommend this hotel for everyone who visits Vanya.
